Hacking a Chinese Diesel Heater With HackRF, ESP32 & Chat GPT, Part 6- A Glimmer of HOPE!

In this episode, we continue our journey to get the radio module to receive and store the hex address from the diesel heater during the pairing process. Despite initial failures, with help from Chat GPT and some code modifications, we finally see a glimmer of hope! We manage to get the GDO2 to assert high, indicating that there’s data in the buffer. Monitoring with the serial data and an oscilloscope, we’re making progress towards a successful pairing.
