In this video I show you how to get readings from the magnetometers on the GY-87 module. Our GY-87 module has the QMC5883L 3 axis magnetometer, allowing us to measure magnetic field in the x, y and z directions. In todays lesson we will learn how to calibrate the magnetometer, using PyQt5 in Python on the PC. Using PyQt5 allows us to visualize the data, and get a much more accurate calibration.
