In this video I will show you how you can create a GPS tracker on your Raspberry Pi Pico W using an adafruit Ultimate GPS. In this lesson we show you how you can log your data to a log file in the pico flash memory. The program starts by measuring and displaying your current position, and then when you press the button, data logging begins. When you press the button a second time, logging stops, and program returns to standard measurement mode. In this video we show how to log the data using the the device remotely, powered by the breadvolt power supply. We show you how to overcome the problem that once we save the program as main.py, the program runs automatically when the pico powers up, but then the challenge becomes killing the program to allow the log file to be transferred to the PC.
