In this video I show you how to incorporate accelerometers into your Arduino projects. The GY-87 module contains the MPU6050 IMU chip. The MPU6050 contains 3 accelerometers for measuring acceleration along the x axis, the y axis, and the z-axis. In today’s lesson we will look at how to plot the accelerometer data on the Arduino Serial Plotter, and then we will discuss what is necessary in order to more perfectly calibrate the sensor. I will take you through things step-by-step, and show you how to connect the module and program it.
