In this video, I describe how you can save calibration and other data to the flash memory on the Pi Pico. This allows you to reload critical data when the program runs. This allows the system to remember its configuration in case power is lost. The memory is limited to 100,000 write cycles, so you do not want to use this as a general data logger. Also the memory is limited to 2 MB and is shared with pi programs. But this is an important skill to have for mission critical data. Enjoy!
