Arduino Uno R4 WiFi LESSON 42: Incorporating an Active Buzzer Into Your Arduino Projects
Pick your Sunfounder kit up so you get the same results I do:

In this video I show you how to incorporate an active buzzer into your Arduino project. It is important to remember that the GPIO pins on the Arduino R4 can only supply 8 milliamps, and trying to draw more current than that can damage the GPIO pin or actually fry your arduino. The buzzer draws more than 8 milliamps, so I will show you how to incorporate a transistor into your projects where you can then control larger currents from the GPIO pins. This concept can be extended to run other components like motors. Enjoy!
