Well as a subscriber to your original channel and an amateur radio operator I am very excited about your new channel. I cannot wait to see what you have in store.

Good luck de ON8PL !
No link, though
Oh goody. I have an idea for the new channel. Explain the Quadrature Sampling Detector used as a mixer to get the I and Q signals out. All the new designs seem to be using them, like the QCX, and they seem to be very different than the traditional mixer.
Used to be licensed back in 1995. However I was Japan for awhile and they never approved my reciprocal license… They did accept the fee… So it lapsed in the States and I never cared because I couldn't do anything. I've never got current again because I am not into social activities as much.
Great idea !! I want SDR , SDR , SDR !!! KC1JNU
You missed a great opportunity to call the new channel: Ham and Swiss

Jumping over and subbing right now.. another incentive to get through my RAC studies and exams.

good luck with this channel, Andreas!
Danke sch枚n for this update! Of course I subbed immediately to your new guy with the (cool) Swiss accent!
Neat! I think we鈥檝e talked before about how you and my father had similar Red Cross jobs back in the day, but about 10 years apart. Now I see your ham license. He was HB9AET over there (he is K1HB here in the US), and all his friends were HB9 as well (AT, ET, AE, my dad said they took all the ones that were easiest in Morse haha). Anyway, another fun channel from you to follow. Looking forward to it!
Congratulations from a G4!
Does Mr. HB9BLA have a Swiss accent ?
