With respect to a Raspberry Pi series. I spent 10 years as an IT trainer and far too many people don’t know the basics or they are at the beginning of their Technology adventures, so having a few lessons at the beginning to get everyone up to speed is a great idea.

I would make a case for the Pi 400, which I purchased recently. It is a little faster than the Pi 4, and the fact that it is contained in a keyboard is an excellent addition. It can run off a small battery pack. All the electronics that can be attached to the older format pi can be attached to the pi 400. There is no need for heat sinks or cases for the pi 400. You can VNC into the pi 400 just as you can into the pi 3 or Pi 4 so it is easy to run headless. The Pi 400 is available as a kit or without accessories. I have found the items in the kit to be useful. The only shortcoming of the Pi400 is that it cannot accommodate the typical pi cameras, but it is compatible with a USB camcorder such as the one used in your AI course. I consider that a benefit b/c the flimsy pi cameras are a nuisance.
