The coal power plants were ready to go. Two days before the storm hit, the Texas governor requested permission to use coal power for additional electricity. The Dept of Energy wouldn't allow Texas to turn on coal plants. The federal govt is responsible for this Texas debacle. By the time the feds said "ok, use it," the damage was done.

But I am about to have an eight-month break from the crazy schedule I have right now so this will be perfect for me come May. Love it. Great idea. I just bought the new Raspberry Picos as well. Also, I got my Jetson Nano and Pi 4 B a few weeks ago. I haven't used the jetson or Pi 4 B yet but I am getting the overwhelming itch. Soo it must be done before I drive myself crazy thinking about them. They are simply beautiful in every sense. I find the Picos so pretty that id wear them as jewelry. The truth is that for me they are worth more than gold and diamonds when you think of the widespread necessity of the involvement of many people with many backgrounds to engineer and create these boards. I have 2 Picos and I have been going through the typical beginner stuff such as led control, display control and stepper control. I cant wait to see and follow your series on Python. Thank you Paul.
